It gets better. that time is shooting it after the 60 ft since we do not have traction devices yet. They are getting custom made for the blazer. and we only shot it half track and let off before the finish line.

This is still a full weight 2nd gen blazer. only thing removed is the back seat and spare tire.

We will be in Florida this weekend at the s10 supernationals at emerald coast dragway. looking for a new best. come on 6's

W O W!!!!

Guess thats what 20 lbs on a sbc does. Thats insane!

So, next mod, is gonna be a shute?

Are you just running a screen on the turbo? No filter? When I was mocking up mine, I was running into the same problem with the turbo in that location.

i have been meaning to put a screen on it, it is just open right now. I dont really drive it on the street so no real need for a filter.

I will wait on the chute till they tell me I have to have it to run again. Its has wilwood 4 pistons all the way around, it stops fine...

Turbos are the sh*t for sure. I would have never thought it would have ran what it does when i built the kit. I was just hoping i could at least run my nitrous times withing having to fill a nitrous bottle everytime i went to the track.

In my experience the chute is for MORE than just stopping. It keeps the vehicle straight and gets you below 100 MPH very quickly.

I blew a tranny line on my BBC R.E.D. and the chute made the stop possible since the slicks were "lubed up" and I only ran rear brakes.

Granted it was only the one run out of a thousand +, but it was memorable.

I thought it was mandated whenever you were over 150 mph.

Certainly atleast get a screen. That'll suck up small kids that happen to be loose around the pits!

BTW, how much boost were you on with the low 9 sec/130's runs?
