4l60e wont shift out of 1st.

Hey fellas! I resolved my sons engine issue.when my nephew helped me do initial repair he ijstalled m155hv oil pump and it wouodnt clear oil pan. Any i rebuilt engije and all fine.but on first engine pull somethine happened because now trajskission wont shift out of first unless you let of gas.i believe tps is ok but will test today.ejgine runs great.tranny fluid is clear and full.any other ideas? Also the the throttle cables were bindijg and holding throttle open some.i think i have that fixed.but didnt have oem routing.
