That doesn't look too bad. Only looks like 4-5 degrees.

Yea, it's not completely ridiculous, but these tires are damn near BRAND new. Like less than 2k miles on them. So I'm nervous

Put about 25 miles on the truck tonight running some.errands. rear didn't bottom once. The front bottomed 2-3 times. Super hard metal on metal contact in front and scraping of the tire against the inner fender.

I'm really not impressed at all with this setup. Both ends of the truck ride worse than stock, and the bottoming in the front is 100% not acceptable. I'm gonna give it a few more days, but there's a damn good chance I'll be raising it back up and looking for new shocks for both ends.

This sucks! Sadly I had to cut the stock shocks off due to rust on the nuts at the top of the shock. Going back to stock isn't an option at this point either. Super not happy about the current setup and don't really want to keep throwing money at it.

It's bad enough I would rather the wifes traverse than this.....and I absolutely loathe that vehicle.

Lol just used this on Adam the other day!

I honestly feel your pain man, 1 step forward, 3 back.

Nice Choice. I loathe that movie too. Took a nice kids movie with a good lesson, and essentially made it a horror movie for most everyone with Jim Careys Antics wrapped in an AstroTurf Suit.

You hit the nail on the head though. 1 step forward, 3 back. This shenaniganery all started with an attempt to find the cause of a front end "clunk" I was getting through the steering wheel. It's light (and not fixed currently), and when I went looking, I found the broken upper shock mount on the drivers side. Great. Got new mounts, and found a smoking deal on the shocks ($125 shipped for the set). I already had the rear bag adjusters from Mark, so I thought this would be a great time to knock all that out and get some improvements at the same time......NOPE.....

Front end bottoms terribly on sharp edged bumps. Not sure if I need more spring rate, more compression damping, or more clearance. I'm gambling on more clearance, as that is the least expensive fix at $350. Spring rate and damping changes come with a move to coil-overs at a $800 minimum buy in.

The rear end has a squeak (that has been there all along) that still needs addressed, as well as some new bump stops. I have a weird vibration that occurs under power between 25-35mph. I'm suspecting that is a pinion angle issue. Guess I'll be getting a set of adjustable rear arms as well in the near future. I'm definitely getting some new shocks for the rear as well. These are NOT setup for this height and ride like poo.

If cash and time weren't an issue, I would be having JSM fabricate a complete custom setup of arms for both ends of the truck, and then running a set of double adjustable coil over Viking shocks. I don't want to spend the cash on it right this moment, and they don't have the time to address it for a few months either. I suspect that is where I will end up anyway when this is all said and done. I really do think that is the "best" solution. Sadly best doesn't always agree with the checkbook or calendar.

Now, take all my belly-aching with a grain of salt. I somewhat knew this was coming, and was looking the other way, and now I'm bent out of shape that all the things I knew were going to happen, well, happened. I'm completely aware I could put it back to stock height and just roll on with it. Not really our style around here though is it? I'm really just venting a little frustration out, and having some "bench-racing" type conversation.

I'll tell ya, it's been tempting to go back already. I've got some arms on order from Tony, and I'm going to get those installed, get an alignment and then see where I stand. If it doesn't get better then I'm unsure of how far I'm willing to chase it. It looks SOOOO much better lowered, but at some point it has to work before it has to look good, and the handling isn't enough improved to accept very many compromises.

I noticed while driving yesterday, I'm fairly certain I'm fighting a wheel imbalance problem as well which is making it seem wore than it is at speed. hopefully that can get resolved at the same time.
