I have said this before but I miss them too. I remember PWF being so busy it was hard to read and keep and up with. It was like the comment section of a live youtube vid on a popular channel.

There was a very tight knit group here back in the day. This place is also where I made the leap to physically meeting people I met online. (yanno, like your parents always warned you not to do...LOL)
I drove way up north jersey for a "Exceeding Limits" truck meet at Daves house. (I done remember what his screen name was here)
Man, that had to have been about 16/17 years ago

One of my closest friends was met through this board. We figured out the other day we've known each other over 20 years now.

#timeflies <--were hashtags even a thing back then?

I don't want to talk about. Job issues. Lost contracts, etc. Major dip in income months after major vehicle purchase which left me without a way out. Had to cut a lot of corners and trim a lot of fat. Still digging out. Probably going to take a loan against 401k AND refi house to get rid of some higher interest debt and maybe get back to a point I can start saving money again.
Truck got pulled off the road and shipped back to the field at my moms house in PA. As soon as I have this damn F150 paid down enough to get out from under the loan it's going down the road.
However, I am starting to get a bit antsy and nostalgic. January 20 will be 20 years since I bought my truck and at the bare minimum I really want to drive the truck on that day. I also REALLY want to have the truck at Carlisle All Truck Nats this year with the big S10Nation facebook group. Maybe these factors will help motivate me enough to make her at least driveable again.
