Summit turbo mufflers made in USA, stainless 409 mufflers made in China. Ordered 2 turbos this afternoon, for the price I'll see how they sound. Figure if they sound good and are quiet enough I can finally install the QTP cutouts.

Have a bit of a Christine vibe going on, replacing weird **** before other things are done. Got tired of the sun visor flapping around so I ordered new ones. Pass side was original and falling apart, driver's was custom leather that felt like a elephant's penis. Glad to be rid of both of them.

Installed new plastic collars, they stay where I leave them, very happy. Just brings up the point that I need to clean, paint, install sound deadener, and purchase a headliner.

PUI Interiors= thumbs up

After quickly installing them took the daughter to practice and got a dirty pic leaving. Hoping to get it washed up soon.

Forgot to mention, picked this up on ebay for $20 shipped. It's the little things that make the difference right? Going down the road I could have my ankles sweating and the passenger side would be 60 degrees. I was getting all the heat due to fan location / direction of forced air.

This brought the air flow back into balance. I still need to tweak the box where I'd taken it apart to clean/paint/seal. Think the metal air port on my side is too large and I'm still getting a majority of the air.

Sad thing is there's a beautifully cast bowtie on the bottom of that duct that you'll never see. Not sure why GM spent time to put it there..

I don't know what a elephant penis feels like.... but hey looks good.

On a side note, turbocharger(s) would make that exhaust sound nice and smooth lol...

I was gonna ask when he had time to pursue zoology with all this car work he gets done. Maybe he volunteers during mating seasons only?

Lol, I've never personally seen nor had contact with the item in question, just the leather on this thing is extremely unpleasant to touch. It's texture is .. off, it's sticky, and dirty. let your imagination do the rest. Send me your addresses, I'll gladly mail pieces of the leather out and ya'll can chime in.

I'd love to have a set of chinese noisy bois making choo choo noises, but unfortunately the wife knows what an alternator looks like. Drove the car today, not sure if I'm getting used to the noise or the pipes are carboning up, sounds a little better, but still has that glasspack rasp to it. Going to try and get a WOT video before I yank them. New mufflers came in last night.

Got a lifter making some noise, might be spending the remainder of car fund on lifters/headgaskets/bolts..
