Welp.....

a HUGE goal for me this year was to have my truck at Carlisle All Truck Nationals (and not be embarrassed) and be hanging out with the different S-series themed Facebook pages that make up the S10Nation group.

I am proud to say
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

It was far from the best looking truck there, and although I did in fact tow the truck to the show, I was running and driving and the only reason I towed it is because the AC doesn't currently work. There are a few things I wanted to get done with the truck before the show I just never quite got around to but over all I am proud that it was there.

my main goal for 2018 is to get the AC working with the intention of driving the truck to the show next year.

I saw Park Style's truck at one point, but was on a mission and didn't have time to stop to chat.
He's the only OG who's truck I can connect to a name. Phil, I'm not sure I know which truck is yours. Looking at the description in your signature, I'm thinking it's the 2-tone truck with the orange pin stripe in the body line?

As for getting AC fixed, it's not in the cards right now. With the wife being a teacher on a 10 month pay schedule, the summer time is always tough financially. Only reason Carlisle was doable was because I prepaid for the show registration MONTHS AGO. And I sold a set of 20" mud tires at Carlisle which paid for my hotel for the weekend, so I didn't have to charge that to the credit card.
Once she's back to school and money settles down again, I can start focusing on that.
I've made up my mind that it's going to be all AC Delco/Delphi parts fixing the AC, so it's gonna be pricey. But, I've found compressors on Amazon for around $200 bux for a GM part so it's just a matter of time waiting for income to start coming back in again. My beater Mazda is gone to my sister as of today, so gas just got a little more expensive as well. As the temps start to cool back down, I'll probably start driving the S10 on a more regular basis. It's not much better than the F150, but it's a little bit better. Plus now that the dizzy has been replaced it might even be better still.

I bought a Four Seasons compressor kit from RockAuto and it works great. I replaced my Sanden because I thought it was squeaking...turns out it was the belt so it still works fine. If you want it you can have it for the shipping cost....I get great FedEx discounts as an employee...well...retired employee.
