Smile Change this summer - what's new guys?

So this summer is about done (especially up here) and we've seen some loss and gains.

Our second grandbaby, Ellie Mae, arrived in June. She's a healthy little bean pole and we are pretty excited for her. Diesel, our grandson, turned 1 this past week. My little girls aren't so little - both mid 20s or so. Crazy eh?

We lost my boys, Frankie and Boris late July. They were 14 1/2, pretty good age for Akita/Malamute mix big guys. Age was showing out and it was time. They were put to sleep at our home surrounded by family, looking at each other and holding paws. Still hurts terrible, but it's that responsibility of a fur baby parent you take on.

We are steps closer to semi retirement and moving to the lower 48. The house has a new roof, new paint, new floors and deck. Next to, landscaping, and kitchen cabinets and we will get on the market. We've had 23 years in this place and so I reckon it's time to experience more of America.

So - how's you all? Marty is married. Bobbys getting married. Rhino married. Next?

We will be nomadish for a while, Jeff, towing a Tinyhome and working little part time jobs to put food in the table. Somewhere warm in the winter, like Arizona or New Mexico, then come back to see the kids and my parents in the summer? We've had enough winter to last a life time.

Grand Babies are great, at least that's why I hear from friends that have them.
Sorry about the pups. Someone on another board has a sig line that says something to the effect of "out living our pets is the price we pay for their unconditional love"

Tiny house sounds fun. Watched a few programs on them as well as YouTube vids. Some of them are unbelievably nice and very creative.

Just keeping keepin on.... Youngest graduated high school this year, both kids are out of school, oldest is doing community College and working at a Toyota dealer detailing cars, the youngest is taking a year off, working at McDonald's training manager. They seem happy haha. Mom n dad are getting up there... Both are retired, house getting plenty of fancy upgrades. Just finished with a liver cancer Stent with my dad, he's doing better and all clear, to my knowledge. That was from last year about this time til about June or so... That roller coaster sucked, too much hospital time... But that is going better... I'm out of tow trucks, I guess ya could say, driving a tri axle dump truck for a road construction company, pay is well worth it.. Still into the entire truck world. Just picked up a bagged 02 silverado, saving for a house, and as Nicki said a wedding... Lil less than a year away...
hope everyone else is well
