I will not be able to make the funeral since my g/f is 8 1/2 months pregnant and my son could be born any day, but I will be there in spirit with all of you who attend.
I would like to make a donation or do something charitable in Dave's memory, once we decide what we would like to do as a community. If there is anything I can do to help in any way please let me know.

I for one plan on making the trip, it's only a 5-6 hour drive, and I get paid on thursday....
But I want you all to realize that you shouldn't be sad.... because he's not suffereing now, he's not having to deal with dialosys 3 times a week... he's not getting stuck however many times a visit to the doctor.... he's at rest.... He's up there right now doin a kegstand....

It's times like this I wish I didn't live so far away. I will be out of the country, so I won't be able to make it. I agree with Rhino, he isn't suffering anymore. We should celebrate the life he lived, not the life we've lost. Dave was a big part of this community, and we should all feel blessed and privilaged we were able to be a part of this with him.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to amend my last statement and will not be making the funeral. I have a previous engagement hosting 50+ RSVPs this weekend, so I will be wearing my STL or Bust shirt in memory, but sadly, will not be in attendance. I trust you guys will rattle some windows in Rogers for me in Loe's honor.
