Chart for tire/drop info to help all s10 owners

CHART IS FOR S10S HERE
well this is a chart that should work and help you guys out 6 7 drop and bags here we go. THESE CHART IS FOR THOSE WHO USED SPINDLES AND SPRINGS. THE SPINDLES MOVE THE FRONT TIRE OUT 1/2 INCH.

this chart is made from the experiences i have with the trucks i lowered and put tires on and that still look good not to much wheel well space. also tire sizes are what i and customers thought looked best on the rims. not all people might agree on this but most of those who i have helped will agree i helped them out ok.

3 inch drop in front
stock s10 rims 15x7 245 60 15
15x7 4 BS 235 60 15, 245 60 15
16X8 4.5 BS 235 55 16 255 50 16

17x8 4.5 BS 245 50 17, 255 50 17

20x8 4.5 BS 245 40 20 <--biggest you can go on front with 20s and not rub unless you have bags then you can go lower and lift it

6 inch THROUGH 7 inch in back
15x8 4.5 bs 295 50 15, 265 50 15, 275 60 15
16x8 4.5 bs 255 50 16, 265 50 16

18x8 4.5 bs 245 45 18, 245 40 18, 255 45 18
18x9.5 5.5 bs 275 35 18 265 35 18
18x9.5 5.25 bs 295 35 18

THIS IS FOR THE BAGGED SET UPS IN 17, 18, 20
front 17x7 4 inch bs 205 40 17, 215 40 17 225 40 17, 215 45 17 and 225 45 17. the 45 series here will hit top of fenders when laid out.
18x7 4 inch bs 225 35 18<-bend rims easy 225 40 18 215 40 18
18x8 will rub bad and at full turn. but you are bagged so a 225 40 18 will work or a 235 40 18.

when you want to lay frame anything above a 25 inch tire you will have problems will be there but will be resting on the fenders take them out you will be fine.
20x8 4.5 bs 245 35 20 <--will be fine once lifted up but you will sit on the wells when bagged out

rear bagged
17x8 4.5 bs 245 40 17 235 40 17 245 45 17
17x9.5 5.5 bs 275 40 17 285 40 17
17x10 5.25 bs 285 40 17
18x8 4.5 bs 245 40 18 245 35 18
18x9.5 5.5 bs 275 35 18, 265 35 18
18x9.5 5.25 bs 295 35 18

granted the taller tires will not help from laying frame but will fill the wells up

IF YOU GUYS WANT ME TO ADD MORE SIZES ASK AWAY AND ILL CHANGE THE SPECS.

FOR THE FIRST GEN YOU HAVE TO RUN 18X7 IN FRONT 4 INCH BS 18X8 HIT TIE ROD ENDS. if you run 17x8 will hit the tie rod ends.if you do get 17s then go 17x7 not 8. ALSO IN REAR IVE DONE A VEW 17X8 WITH 255 45 17 OR 18X8 4. 5 BS 255 45 18 NO PROBS THE 18X9.5 WITH 275 35 18 AND 5.5 BS WORKED GOOD

THE PRE 97 BLAZERS ARE ABOUT THE SAME AS THE 94 UP S10S BUT THE 98 UP TOTALLY DIFFERENT

on ours we have a 5.5 6.5 drop and with 255 45 18 rubs at full turn on 18x8 and 4.5 bs but its fine other than that. the rears the 18x9.5 with 5.5 bs and 275 35 18 are really close to the leafs but will fit. id go with a 5.25 bs and a 275 35 18 if you do it or if you run 275 40 18 then get a 5.25 bs.

ok so here are some numbers for a 98 up blazer
stock 15x7 will work with a 235 70 15 with a 4 5 drop.
4 inch drop 98 up blazers
17x8 4.5 bs 255 50 17
16x8 4.5 bs 235 60 16
18x8 245 45 18 255 45 18

rear with 5 inch drop
18x8 4.5 bs 245 45 18, 255 45 18, 275 40 18 (<--18x9.5 5.25 bs)

98 up blazers 5 inch drop in front
17x8 4.5 bs245 50 17 255 50 17
18x8 4.5 ba 245 45 18 255 45 18
20x8 4.5 bs 245 35 20 255 35 20 will hit top of fenders

6 inch drop in back
17x8 4.5 bs 255 50 17
18x8 255 45 18
20x8 4.5 bs 245 35 20 255 35 20

on that blazer 5 inches in front with a 8.5 rim and 255 35 20 ouch say hello to cuttin up your fenderwells and tires

here is a truck i did
www.geocities.com/mels96blazer
thats a 245 40 18 tire which is 25.7 and thats a 5 inch drop in front and rubbed at full turn also when it bottomed out up top. you will be running a 1.25 inch taller tire. good luck.

ps i hope the backspacing is 4.75 because if its 4.5 will rub outside fenderlip and 5 inch will rub inside the wells even worse

center backspacing? you mean 4.25?. youll want 4.75" on an 8.5 i believe. i dont think 4.25 will tuck.

as for thefront, expect quite a bit of rubbing. 255/35/20s are 27" tall same as a stock s10 tire, drop your blazer 5/6 on stock wheels first and see how bad it rubs, then decide if you want to run those wheels up front.

cant drop it on stock tires because they are too buldgy and will rub and by center i mean 0 Its the way KMC standard rwd trucks come. They will tuck. And I plaing to mess with my fender wells a tad in the front mainly i will need to denbt in the fram a tad and maybe modify the roll bar. But I have seen it done on that blue blaze x that waS IN THE GALLERY WITH 20" kmc stealths. He said he had no rubing. The only diufference was he used a arms and i used spindles

spindles move your tires out 1/4 inche thought you knew that, also 98 up blazers sit higher than 97 down becase the body mounts are bigger. we are lower than that blazer x on our 2001 www.geocities.com/stefannys01blazer

no rubbing cept at full turn. like i said that 96 4 door rubs and you are using a taller tire good luck

Naw I never knew spindles did that. 1/4 inch shouldnt hurt because the KMCs are as deep of an offset. where exactly will it rub? The rear I had to bend all of those lips up and for the front I'm going to have to do some pounding and sanding. I will get it one way or another but if ya have any tips that I'm not aware of shoot cause any little bit will help thanks dudes
