Took me until October.......

But I finally broke 2,000 miles on the bike this weekend. Easily the most I've cycled in one season ever. Of course it does include the 700 miles to Philly, so I'm not sure I'll be able to do it again next year (unless I start commuting to work by bike).

I wasn't even "training" is the cool part. I was just cruising on the bike with Shelly headed to the park to enjoy the nice weather on Saturday morning.

Where's your spreadsheet graphs

Congrats. Until this year, my best year was ~1,500 (no clue on when I cycled ~10years ago, no stats, but doubt it was this high). 2,000 miles is a good milestone!

I ride with a guy who decided to take a 1000 mile month challenge. I like mileage goals... I still think he was crazy.

EDIT: I wasn't talking about you actually... it was someone else.
I'd forgotten about this thread...

Yea, until I can commute by bike, it'll never happen (1k in a 1 month).

I have almost ZERO data on my riding this year. I got lazy about keeping track early on, and never got back on that particular horse. Just the odometer on the computer, and the hour log. I'll try to provide more graphs and spreadsheets in future posts

Sweeet man. What kind of bike are you riding? Have any pictures? Let me know if you need a riding partner. Richmond isn't that far of a drive, and I hear Frankfort has some cool roads to cycle on with plenty of hills!

I bought a Fuji Newest. It is...ok.

I was really just looking for something to supplement my running. However, since I've had the bike I've completed in 2 Duathlons, hoping to add swimming to the list and do some Tri's. I really like the adjustability of the bike. I have some minor low back issues and I can adjust the bars up so I'm not too terribly humped over.

I think I would enjoy riding more if I had somebody to ride with, maybe we need to get together in F-fort or Shelbyville.

Nice bike dude! We should definitely hook up near Shelbuville for a ride.

Shoot me a PM with your current phone number and I'll give you a call!
