I just read this via the myspace bulletin, and although I dont frequent here as much as I used to, I still always enjoyed threads that involved him. I'm saddened that I never got to meet him in person. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone and his family. Everyone is certainly in my thoughts and prayers.

Next time I take the sonoma out before it's parked until january, I'll lay some sparks out for him.

RIP

Since I know so many people would like to attend Dave's funeral but simply cannot, how about we do a group donation to the National Foundation for Transplants Arkansas Kidney Fund or something that Dave supported...we could have the donation made in Dave's name & honor.

this is a fine idea....
perhaps s-seriesforum could set up a paypal link or something?
As soon as the info on arrangements come out, we might know the organization.

As it stands, I am planning on attending, unless I just can't get off of work. I live near St. Louis. If anyone wants to meet up and drive down, let me know.

RIP Dave. We've know for a long time that it was inevitable, but it certainly doesn't make it any easier. I too plan on attending, as soon as details are available.
