What? You can't data log fuel pressure with your fancy computer and wiring. http://s-seriesforum.com/forum/showp...&postcount=596
See last two pictures.

Love the Torque-App HUD overlay on top of the video.

Lol I could get a sending unit and monitor it through a unused sensor, but I wasn't worried about it till now.

Guy I bought them from is cool. His 67 was the test bed for hotchkis, he's got a complete setup under his car. Said he's taking it off in March, I'm definitely in line for it. It was also the centerfold car for Chevy high performance in 07. It was covered but he showed me the engine bay. Has a crazy LS setup in it with a NASCAR front end. Weird water pump, Ford distributor, etc. He had to push the engine so far back he couldn't use this setup. Oh, he also designs and manufactures the shocks that Detroit speed sells.

He was advertising the headers, I contacted him and he told me about the swap stuff, made a killer offer then packed up the fam and laid the ears back....
Talked w/ the guy I bought headers and stuff from to let him know his old parts are being loved on. He sent me a link to this video, teared up a minute. This shows the LS engine setup I was talking about, this car is NICE.

Thanks guys, I'm definitely enjoying it. Just crested a 1000 miles on the swap and finally got a decent tank full of gas through it, and kept track of it. Including the dragstrip and probably at least 5 ride alongs the car managed 18 mpg. Not too shabby.

Replaced the pump this weekend, Tanks Inc came through with a brand new setup. Sending the spare pump back to Summit. New pump is really quiet, almost sounds like a stock setup. Moved the older daughter out of the house too, so hopefully cash flow will open up a little, if I can keep the wife from throwing money at them.. This was at their house, swapped out the pump and drove it over there, had to give all the friends a ride. That nice looking GMC Terrain? Yea, we said goodbye to the hybrid Tahoe. Wife is happy.

Happy Wife, Happy Life!

I see you trying to just sneak that one in there on us to see who is really paying attention

Our Traverse is on it's last leg. Timing chain tensioner is completely dead at this point. Chain rattles, has multiple codes present, misfires from time to time, and is down on power. Not sure how soon we can make a move, but it's coming.

Also, congrats on getting one of the kiddos out of the house. Major step there!

Lol, never know who's paying attention anymore. The terrain has the ecotec 4 in it, figure that's enough to keep up, has 60k on it so I won't have to worry about any major work for a while (I hope). It's fully loaded and the wife is happy, as you said, life is good.

I'm back in a s-series. Found a 00 jimmy with 134k and very clean, nothing spectacular so I haven't really mentioned it. You can guess the color too . Picked it up for the younger daughter's first vehicle. I'm driving it in the short while to dial it in and get it fixed up. Still have 2 years before she gets her license but it was a good deal and we had the cash.

We still have the wife's '11 Edge, it won't sell, got my eye on a silverado, might be trading it in soon, but hate to take the hit. I'm just really friggin tired of all the spam I've gotten from listing that damn car.

Hoping to start working on the peripheral items (trim, lowering front, interior, etc) on the chevelle in the next little while. I did swap out the driver's door latch while it was waiting for the pump. Door is very solid now. Before it would pop open randomly, one time during a 2nd gear slide, another time going around a curve at speed, super sketchy.

Made it back to the track with correct fuel pressure and a empty trunk. This is the fastest vehicle I've ever built. Thoroughly happy with the day. Busted my best time, then drove it 30 miles down the highway to my daughter's house warming party, then drove it home. Awesome day. . There's a lot more left too, can mess with the tune and get better tires, but I'm satisfied right now.

I'm going to study the datalogs and figure out the differences to see how I managed an 8.28 but 3mph slower than other runs.

My daughter's friends were there and caught me running a 392 hemi.
