my 88 in my avatar went away a couple months ago. the 96 is not tagged and is now at my moms house but it gets used for running trash up to the street (mile long driveway) and for general hauling/moving duties around the yard. so at least it gets driven periodically

I am on my third S-10 and have had it since 1996 it is a 1991 Ext. Cab 2.8 5spd. with about 207K currently. It had 62K when I bought it.

My first was a 1987 Ext. Cab that I bought is 1989 from a kid who put a V8 in it but I sold it in 1991.

My second was a 1988? reg cab long bed with a 2.8 5spd. I bought it 1n 1995 with 225K on it mostly to see if I could live with the 2.8 instead of a 4.3. Once I found I could, I sold it and bought number three with the intention of keeping it until the wheels fell off. I still have a long way to go before that happens.

My truck is going to need painted soon but that will require replacing the doors and maybe the fenders and at least one cab corner if I want the truck to look great for many years to come. I am having a difficult time sourcing good quality replacement parts, especially the doors. Any suggestions?

Sad when you sit here and think about it, and remember 3 more trucks you forgot about....

Hmm, lets see: Looks like 7 so far. Not Including a 96 Blazer and a 94 ZR2 that were bought for parts only.

First was a 92 S10 RCSB 2.8/5 speed-- besides the GT its my fav one.

Bought new in 2001 a Blazer Xtreme rolled on the freeway alittle over a year later

My 92 Sonoma GT #0492

a 92 GMC Typhoon #1104 Beat up and ended up blowing the engine

2000 Olds Bravada 44K miles for 4 grand

93 S10 2.8/5 speed, tried to relive the glory of the first one, realized that would never happen, so its in the middle of an LT1/T56 swap.

93 S10 4.3/Auto bought off CL for 400 bucks, straight rust free and the 4.3 runs awesome. With some work this could easily become my new daily driver.

And currently looking at buying a 96 4 door Blazer that has a bad fuel pump for 500 maybe less, but it doesn't have a title, so im not sure if its worth the hassle to get the title just to fix it up alittle and flip it.
