2001 ZQ8 wheels now available as a package

Good news: The latest GM performance catalog lists the 2001 ZQ8 wheels as a package #12498299, includes 4 wheels, 20 lug nuts, 20 lug nut caps, 4 bowtie center caps, and 4 valve stems.

Bad news: There is no price available yet.

I'll try to get the price as soon as it's available.

Update, the wheel package is finally available, and cheap too!

This set of four wheels is a great addition to any GM vehicle. These aluminum wheels are 16x8 with rim off-set of -6.4mm and they have a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. These wheels can be used on 1987 and older A or G-body. 1992 and older F-body cars as well as other vehicles that use the same bolt pattern.(Be sure to check for fender and frame clearances and axle outside hum diameter when installing these wheels.) The center caps are chrome with the bowtie logo. If you require a GMC logo, order cap P/N 9593761.
GM list price is $625.00
gmpartsdirect $437.50

That is a good price.

I would like to get a set if you order, but I need to take some measurements and answer questions first.

Ok, I have Greenhorn question. I currently run the stock 15" wheels with p235/75 15 aggressive off-road tires on my 96 4wd blazer. I think the bolt pattern is 5 x4.75 but might be 5 x 4.5. First, can anyone bet their farm on the fact these will fit my Blazer without clearance problems.

I think some of you guys run the 235/50 16 on the 16x8 rims or at least I think thats the oem zq8 tire size (you can correct me if wrong). Second, if I buy these with you MKman, will my total outside diameter w/ wheels and tires bring my gear ratio a good deal higher (numerically). I currently have 3.42's. I believe current outside diameter w/ my 235/75 15 and is about 29 inches. I would not mind seeing that drop 2 or 4 inches to say give the the equivalent of 3.73's but not drop too much to give the equivalent of 4.10's.

Had to ask guys,...I'm good with business but new at wheels. I read a couple sticky's on wheels but I don't think it answers my question. If it does, someone tell me to read it again.
Well, I won't be buying these anytime soon, I just spent everything I have on bodywork and engine for my Bravada. I do want those wheels bad though, :thinksoutloud: maybe I can sell my 98 ZQ8s. hmmm.

That price is for anyone, it's not a group purchase, only thing to watch is the shipping from gmpartdirect, some people have complained about high shipping charges. I just use it for price comparison. Those wheels can be bought at any GM parts dept, (probably gonna charge you retail price without the shipping though) or you can get them at any of the GM performance parts dealers online.

Ok, as far as fitment, no they won't fit a 4WD unless you want them to stick out about 2".
2WD and 4WD have the same bolt pattern, 5lug x4.75" but they have different offsets. The 98-up wheels also have a slightly smaller hub center hole which needs to be enlarged slightly to fit older trucks. Easily done with a 3" flapwheel sander from Sears in about 10 minutes.

4th gen F-body (94-up Camaro-Firebird) wheels will fit a 4WD.
