I've never been on the hydroboost bandwagon. But ill dig some more on options. Cheap is key at this point, Id like not to dump 300-400 at this deal if I can avoid it.

what master did you use?- suppose I could not be lazy and actually go dig back through your thread lol

I got the hydroboost unit w/ bracket and hoses for $26 (2005 Tahoe Z71), hoses go right to the steering box, the high pressure line may screw into your pump as well, don't think GM changed them. I didn't change a single thing on the hoses, but my engine already had the LS pump w/ hydroboost return, just an extra nipple in the reservoir.

The high pressure line goes from pump to hydroboost, then there's a high pressure line off the HB that goes to the high side of the steering box. That screwed right in to my zq8 box that Mikey had sent me. I thought it was some seriously complicated thing but it couldn't be more simple.

1980 Corvette master cylinder. It worked with my brake line fittings, lined up with no adjustments.

My concern is my car being LT, the p/s pump is on passenger side. Which sucks, andhas a remote reservoir.

Not sure I wanna dive into running all the lines, Because everything would need modded for length at a minimum and go under front of motor.

You could use the high side you already have, fashion a female to female coupling, then T the returns together.

Well, the 95 I built ended up getting bought by one of my best friends who had moved to Cali within last 6 months, I had been keeping him up to date on build, and he had to have it. Flew in last Friday, stayed weekend with me and left Monday morning and giving me updates as he journeys 2100 miles home. Donuts on Bonneville salt flats yesterday were best pics so far. Jealous.


But back to regularly scheduled program.

I finally got my housing back from Sutton narrowed to correct specs, dropped it off with builder same day I picked it up for assembly. Jeff knocked it out quick. Called me at 930 morning of the 4th to get it. So I went ahead and got paint on it before 4th of July festivities began. I need to order axles and ill be in home stretch to get in back in car.

I just caught myself up here... Sounds like a lot of my projects that turn out slightly different than they started. Or sometimes MAJORLY differently, lol.

Are you referencing the White S10?

I mean, its exactly what I planned... except for selling it. but realistically I have no reason to have 4 vehicles. I have no space as it is lol
