Congratulations man! Ride safe and enjoy that thing, looks like it's going to be a fun ride, especially with that freaking huge by large front rotor!

What's way more fun than the brake is a monstrously torquey V-twin and a short wheelbase. A wheelie good time. Hang on Sean!

Man that is one nice bike, I'm jealous. Apparently an entire shift of firemen locally went and bought bikes.

Has my thinly veiled disdain for H/D showed up before now?
Well, it ain't thin anymore. I'll let others do the talking, they do better than I can.

I think that Harley will in the end fail big. Their motorcycles are super expensive compared to other cruisers (which often feature more features and/or better quality). If you want to sell motorcycles and get people hooked on a brand then you need to offer a low cost option. The Sportster is not a low cost option as you can get a much nicer cruiser elsewhere for the same or less money.

Harley use to have that outlaw image, now when I see a guy on a Harley I don't see an outlaw. I see some guy on a motorcycle out riding. There is no more "bad ass" left in the Harley.

Nate I agree with you on that one. There are more guys that look like outlaws on metric cruisers and custom metric choppers and bobbers running around trying to be different. I see guys rolling big twin harleys in beach shorts and loafers or moccasins....i mean c'mon I however decided to cash in on harleys ignorance. After some bad luck last night with a shredding serpentine belt on a siezed idler pulley and being stuck in new jersey. This morning after last nights rescue by my friends in phili I went to harley and signed off on my xb12ss I will pick her up tomorrow however when its not pouring rain and we will be on our way home. Truck is fixed and waiting its precious cargo.... Hopefully this link works, ill have more pics once i get her home.

I really think that instead of trying to cram this "going green" down everyone's throat the government should be showing people what a great alternative the motorcycle is. With that said, where is the government bailout for Buell?

Tree huggers don't ride and Buell is small enough to let fail.

I'm curious to see if Harley tanks if Big Brother will step in.
