Not sure anyone's done that. The research I'd do is checking to see if the body mount part #s are the same, so you know there's interchangeability, then go out and measure the distances between the body mounts on the vehicles.
You might call around to body shops to see if they have a frame machine, then ask if they can tell you if there are any distances in the measure points between the two models. Good luck!

While it never hurts to measure/check, I would be 99% certain it's a direct swap. We ARE talking 1st gen to 1st gen here correct? (If it's a '94 not a '95)

yeah its a 94 and it as a vortec and the frame is a 91 tbi i just got the 94 the other day and i was going to add all the power options to my 91 but someone told me just to switch the body's around and it would be faster then ripping apart both of them and switching around the wire harness etc.

Ok I know this is an old thread. But seems the info is no where to be found. Yes the body mounts are in the same poistion between the first gen and second gen. As long as both frames are from the same model.
I had my 88 2 door blazer on a 96 frame. Bumper mounts for the front will be different |
