I knew that little bit wouldnt matter but you were making it such a big deal. If any thing I might have to bend my fender lips up so they arent flat underneath

Great Chart, very helpful.

I am working on a wheel/ tire set up for a 96 Sonoma V6 with a 4 5 drop. I am looking to go with a 18inch wheel. What size tire and backspacing will be needed. I also read that spindles cause a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch outward movement of the front tires. I have Chasis tech spindles and I was wondering how much they vary from stock and what backspacing ill need with them.

Thanks

4x2 or 4x4? with that drop you wouldn't need any special backspacing

I am doing a 5/5 drop but eventually doing bags. When I bag I want 20's in the front and 22's in the rear. I don't care about cutting, but what do I need to cut and what backspacing do I need front and rear???

I have a question on this: 20x8 4.5 BS 245 40 20 <--biggest you can go on front with 20s and not rub unless you have bags then you can go lower and lift it

Would an 20x8.5 rim also work. I can't find too many 20x8 rims. Also my xtreme isn't lowered and I have no plans on lowering it. thanks

Ok, with a 3" drop on stock wheels, you say 245/60 and for a 4" drop its 225/60. Does that mean if I go with a 3.5" drop I should get 235/60?

that would give me an overall diameter of 26.1" instead of 27.1" with the stock size tires, or would 26.5" with the 245s be OK?

Sorry for the rambling post

DON'T DO IT! 20" AT STOCK HEIGHT LOOKS REAL LAME. I LIKE THE LOOK OF 20" RIMS BUT YOU HAVE TO LAY IT DOWN. TAKE THE PLUNGE, YOU WON' T REGRET IT. ATLEAST 3-4" DROP. JUST MY OPINION.
