It's alot easier if you just buy the whole axle. I didn't, and still don't need the spacers either. A myth as far as I'm concerned.

It is not necessary to replace the seals, but it's good for a piece of mind, and they're simple to replace, just pop them out w/ a screw driver, clean the ends of the axle tubes out w/ a rag and some brake cleaner, then pop them back in w/ a hammer and block of wood, making sure they are square and flush w/ the ends of the axles. be sure to clean off the ends of the axles as well and lube them w/ some fresh gear fluid before reinstalling.

and useless trivia time. A rear is defined by the # of bolts on the ring gear, just happy coincedence that the cover has the same # of bolts that the ring gear does.
Yes, the hard-line is secured enough to hold the rubber line out of harm's way.

I shortened the hard lines (PITA) for this too. Don't know if I said that??!!!

Have you really gotten on the brakes yet impressed? Or not? I'm hoping in the end my upgrade to the LS1 rears impresses me.

Please, if you note the random use of piss poor punctuation it is apparently due to my lack of turning on my MSA bottle while fighting fires. I apologize. Thank you for any special considerations.

So why is the truck stuck in the garage? Are the brakes locked or something?
