i did notice you had said that in an earlier post....do you mean painting the inside of the "back" piece of the cluster? sorry if thats a dumb question, im trying to go from memory what it looks like back there...

just pulled the cluster to see what exactly ill need to order....there are only nine "serviceable" bulbs, six 194 and 3 74's. the dummy lights are all soldered to the board. so, i will be ordering those nine bulbs. should look good.

OKAY...cool idea with the LEDs in the cluster, but..
WHAT HAPPENS when you try to DIM them? Do they dim properly?
If so, I'm heading out to buy some soon and do the white LED thing to my cluster...
I put a thread somewhere else in 'exterior' styling, I think, about LEDs on my exterior lamps and the interior dome and footwell ones...
