Traffic on the freeway typically runs about 80-90 mph, so it doesn't take very long to go from there to 120 before the next overpass.

The 275/40/17s and 245/45/17s are almost exactly the same diameter. You must have more drop than I do (3/3).

Just remember to keep those puppies the same size so you don't burn up the transfer case! I know you got prices on the 18s too, quit holding back!

I just started tinkering with the truck tonight since its a little cooler here this week (about 95 ack) I started pulling parts off the parts Blazer to put on the Jimmy.
I blasted the headligh buckets and painted them a fresh black before installing. I installed the driver's side power mirror. Blasted and painted the prop rod then installed it. Also did the tailgate cables. all the lights even work! WEEEEE

I got the same sumitomos you did except to fit my 16" ZQ8 wheels. I got mine on sale at tire rack and only spent about $280 including shipping for all 4 tires. I love them, ofcourse I am compairing them to my yokohama geolander a/t's that I had before. But none the less, I love the tires, they make it feel like a whole new truck.
