I have no doubt it will eventually pay dividends. Just takes time to get ball rolling.

Just cars and some other stuff will have to go to backburner while I focus on it. Which cars have NEVER taken a backseat, so time to be an adult and make important decisions for future success.

Not to much news, but a little.

My career change definitely didn't work out, taking 3 months to understand the big picture of what was going on sucks, bank accounts are pretty much depleted and getting to be scary. I made decision several weeks ago this path wasn't sustainable or what I wanted to do for long term. SO with that said I started searching to get back into a traditional career. Accepted a job offer last Friday. Start next week. Time to rebuild the coffers

Drove wagon on 23* day on a cruise with some local mini trucker buddies and noticed it developed another exhaust leak. On top of one its had at driver collector forever. That was last straw. Time to jump into making the X-pipe setup I bought along time fit.

Probably have about 6 hrs in it so far, and I still need to work the remaining exhaust into back portion. Fairly happy with front section.

Looks good Greg! Need you to help me with mine. The easiest way I found to find leaks is using the exhaust of a shop vac. Blows strong enough to feel for leaks without burning your hands on hot exhaust. Adam and I both found leaks in our exhaust using that method.

Finally got exhaust wrapped up.

Spent close to 2 hrs air testing my assembly and fixing pinholes. Then found header gasket leaking, of course had to pull header off. And had a wonky hole, when I tried to clean it up running a tap, I found it had been repaired by PO with a helicoil. So had to replace that insert. Also had cut my header flange in attempt to help with sealing. Well what had happened over time is the last tube basically had flexed upward and bolt holes weren't lining up correctly which I think is what goobered up the helicoil in first place. So did best I could in bending it back and tacking the flange back together. It was still a fight to get bolts all back in. Which really sucks because header has to be removed for spark plug changes. Did find some bolts that had an allen in end plug the hex. That helped reassembly time.

After all that, found 1 of my muffler was cracked around one side. Luckily I have talented friends, and he helped me tig it back together. They don't make these Edelbrock mufflers anymore.

But its all done and so far seems to be leak free. So at this point pretty happy.
