Other vehicles for v8 swaps?

For the most part I'm not considering any two door vehicles, though may make an exception. I'd still like to do a v8 swap at some point, it will likely not happen until after I've finished my bachelors degree in a couple of years. Obviously the thought all along was my s10, but the more I drive it, the less I think that will be the case. I'm thinking I'd like something with a little more room inside like a four door or even a wagon. I've recently been looking at Volvo 240's, they seem relatively plentiful in my area and good rust free examples can be found. But I just wanted to see if you guys have seen any good swaps that would fit my criteria.

Search south!

I might recommend something like an early 50's sedan or wagon Chevy... Or mid 60s wagon.

I always wanted to make a 6th gen Suburban into a cool family hauler.

Can go either "direction" with it as well. Lift it and make it a 4wd machine, or lower it and make it a street machine. Both have been seen with good results.

Honestly, I always wanted to put the Duramax/Allison driveline with QuadraSteer into that body style. Just seems like a cool setup to make, and I'm not sure I've seen it before. Would make a helluva daily driver/tow vehicle/family truckster.

Only has 3 doors though......some body work and time could fix that too if you wanted it bad enough.
